风月自由，秋来冬也至，充满诗意的季节，我们以青春的名义，继续活力绚烂的社团活动……
在这里，我们用热爱，去探索、去尝试；用生力，去勾勒、去攀登；用情怀，去书写，去创造。借助我们多彩的学生社团，去记录青春最美的样子！
在青岛为明学校国际部，为了让同学们的热爱在社团活动中得到更好的发展，我们不仅为同学们提供了逐梦的舞台，还有专业的老师保驾护航。本学年开设的校园社团，依然根据同学们的兴趣爱好而打造。有的同学作为社团的发起者，经过开学一个月以来的不断磨合和实践，已经将社团运营的风生水起。今天就让我们一起走进国际部的社团看看吧！
Yearbook Club 年鉴杂志社
Yearbook Club members are divided into three teams: the editing team, the writing team, and the photography team. Our big mission is to collect the best moments of WMISD, compile them together, and make these memories last forever by editing the WMISD yearbook. The Yearbook Club crew works hard throughout the year: taking individual profile photos, covering big events with pictures and introductions, and finishing the yearbook before graduation season as the best gift to students from their alma mater.
年鉴杂志社团分为三个团队: 排版组、文案组和图片组。我们的使命是通过编辑年鉴杂志，收集ISD最美好的瞬间，将它们汇集在一起，让高光记忆永存。社团成员一年到头都在努力工作，包括拍摄每一位师生的照片、挑选学部大型活动 、进行文案和配图。只为在毕业季前完成年鉴杂志，作为母校最好的礼物送给每一位国际部的师生。
Music Club 音乐社团
音乐社团尊重个性，给予了学生更多自由选择音乐活动的权力，比如组建乐队、参加合唱团、合奏、乐器表演等，音乐老师协助学生组织排练，提高表演水平。音乐社团致力于让每一位加入我们的学生都能轻松快乐，在音乐活动中找到自己擅长和喜欢的位置，并在参与中获得更多的成就感。
The Music Club respects individuality and gives students more freedom to choose from musical activities such as forming a band, participating in a chorus, performing in an ensemble or instrumental performance, and so. Music Club assists students to organize rehearsals and improve performances.We are committed to making every student who joins our club feel relaxed and joyful, find music activities that they are good at and like, and gain a sense of accomplishment from participating in music.
Frisbee club 飞盘社
We have a range of students from both our American and SACE programmes that are joined together by their enjoyment of frisbee. We meet each week and (weather dependent!) often practice our throwing techniques with small drills and either play small games or bigger group matches.All students are encouraged to get involved and have fun, and the teachers also do not hesitate to take part and test their fitness! We like to foster an environment of support and healthy competition to teach lasting skills and help build rapport amongst members that can be beneficial in other areas of school.
同学们每周在社团里练习投掷技术，他们有时进行游戏互动，有时进行团队比赛。所有的学生都被鼓励参与其中，老师们也经常加入锻炼并挑战他们的体能！飞盘社的初衷是想要营造一个健康竞争的环境，在提升技能的同时帮助成员之间建立融洽的关系，有益于加强他们在学校其他领域的发展。
IT Programming Club IT编程社团

The IT Programming club is a club that builds circuits and programs to realize basic functions on the hardware development platform Arduino. During club activities, students design and build circuits, connect chips, complete related programming, and ultimately form a simple system based on functions to be achieved, such as lighting, ringing, temperature control, and so on. The club teacher is responsible for teaching basic circuit, hardware, and programming knowledge, guiding students to operate by themselves and learn through practice.
This club activity aims to teach students basic hardware and programming knowledge; develop their understanding of algorithms such as loops, nesting, packages, and related commands; and exercise their hands-on operation and problem-solving abilities.
IT编程社团是在硬件开发平台Arduino上，进行电路搭建和编程实现基本功能的社团。在社团活动中，学生根据要实现的功能，例如灯亮，响铃，温控等，设计并搭建电路，连接芯片，完成相关编程，最后形成简单系统。社团教师负责教授基本电路，硬件，编程知识，引导学生自己动手操作，在实践中学习。
IT编程旨在教授学生基本硬件和编程知识，发展学生对算法，例如循环，嵌套，包，相关命令的理解，锻炼学生的动手操作能力和解决实际问题的能力。
Cafe club 咖啡社
In the Cafe Club, students can experience the joys of grinding, brewing, and tasting coffee beans. Come drink a cup of coffee, enjoy the aroma of coffee, and feel the brew of life. We combine craftsmanship with public welfare, using the skills we learn to fundraise for charity. Cafe Club members never get tired of using their passion in service of others.
在Cafe社团里，学生可以体验到从咖啡豆的研磨，到冲泡，再到品尝，唇齿间便满是咖啡的香气。喝一杯咖啡，感受咖啡的香气，感受情绪的蔓延，感受生活的点滴。他们将“手艺”和“公益”相结合，用学到的技能变现收益，投入到公益事业中。在奉献爱心的路上，CAFE Club的成员们一路前行，不仅为云南山区助农，还为山区村小捐赠电子教学设备。
Ateral Thinking Puzzle Club 海龟汤社

A Lateral Thinking Puzzle is an intellectual game of uncovering the truth in a situation-based story. In this club, students (participants) read a text as a starting point for the story, engage in interactive questioning, and ultimately uncover the truth of the story. The club teachers (questioners) guide students and give hints, summarize the plot as it develops, and sort out the logic at the end.
The aim of this club activity is to exercise the students' ability to imagine different scenarios and organize sequences of events, thus improving their dialectical thinking, logical thinking, and lateral thinking.

海龟汤（情境之谜）是一种猜测情境事件真相的智力游戏。在社团活动中，学生将以阅读模拟文本为游戏起点，参与互动提问，最终还原故事真相。社团教师（提问者）负责在过程中引导思路或给予提醒，并在最后的点评中总结故事发展，梳理逻辑。
本社团旨在锻炼学生对阅读中模拟的不同场景的想象能力和对事件的思维加工能力，从而提高学生的辩证思维、逻辑思维和横向思维能力。
Photograph Club 摄影社
In the Photograhy Club, we learn all about the history and evolution of photography. Our group engages in tours of indoor and outdoor environments, searching for interesting images and subjects. We also examine cameras of historical importance and compare them with modern digital cameras, analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of both. Every week, we grow our interest in and love for photography. Some students leave with a great hobby, and some even leave with the foundations of a future career.
摄影社团会学习所有关于摄影的历史和演变，社团成员在室内和室外环境中发掘有趣的图像。我们还研究了具有历史意义的相机，并将它们与现代数码相机进行了比较，分析两者的优缺点。每周我们都会增加对摄影的兴趣和热爱，从而同学们建立了爱好，甚至对一些人来说，是职业生涯的基础。
Sports Club 运动社团
运动社团一直是我们国际部最庞大的社团组织，它囊括了篮球社团、足球社团、排球社团、羽毛球社团、网球、棒球、高尔夫、游泳等几乎所有和体育相关的运动项目。而且这里面不乏有取得了全国国际化篮球联赛总冠军的篮球队、获得过青岛国际学校联盟杯冠亚军的足球和排球队... 当然这些队伍里更是卧虎藏龙，有的同学是省级高尔夫比赛冠军、有的是网球、游泳健将... 很多加入国际部的小伙伴也都是看中了为明校园里浓厚的运动氛围，希望我们的学生不仅学术优秀，更可以拥有健康的体魄和坚韧的体育精神。
The Sports Club has always been the largest association organization of our ISD, it includes basketball club, football club, volleyball club, badminton club, tennis, baseball, golf, swimming, and almost all sports-related clubs. Our basketball teams have won national championships, and our football and volleyball teams have won at the Qingdao International School League Cup. There are also students who are good at golf, tennis, swimming, and more. We hope that our students will not only be excellent academically, but also have a healthy body and good sportsmanship.
Movie club 电影社团
"Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what you're gonna get." The Movie Club is not just a leisurely "Popcorn and Coke" combo. This club screens weekly some of the greatest films ever made, such as "Forrest Gump," "The Pursuit of Happiness," "Rudy," and more. Club teachers don't just play the movies. They guide students to discover classic works and the beauty they hold for us to enjoy.
电影社团可不是悠闲的“爆米花+可乐”套餐，每周英文经典剧场按时开播，《阿甘正传》、《当幸福来敲门》、《追梦赤子心》... “人生就像一盒巧克力，你永远不知道下一颗会是什么味道。”社团老师不是单纯的电影播放员，他们更是在引导学生们在经典作品里感受它所传递的道理。
Art Club 美术社团
Students who are interested in art are using brushes and other tools in Art Club. They learn about Van Gogh's dreamy "Starry Night," Monet's comfortable "Water Lilies," and many other famous and important artworks. They use their brushes and hands to paint about their lives and create infinite possibilities.
那些爱好艺术的同学们在美术社团里正挥动着画笔，他们用笔触感受着梵高梦幻的星空、莫奈安逸的睡莲、刻刀下栩栩如生的板画...... 他们更是用画笔描绘着自己多彩的青春、用双手创造着无限的可能。
Volunteer Teaching club 公益支教社团
Public welfare activities have always been welcomed by the teachers and students of the ISD. The teachers and students of the ISD Care Foundation not only use their summer holidays to volunteer teaching in remote mountain areas but also donate electronic equipment in order to set up online classes for the children in these areas. After teachers have trained club members, these new "young teachers" will give online lectures to primary school students in these mountainous areas. It is a great opportunity to develop students' teaching skills and also a chance to share care and compassion with others.
公益活动一直深受国际部师生的欢迎，多年来国际部基金会的师生们不仅利用假期前往偏远山区进行一线支教，更是为了在平日的社团时间里能为山区小朋友们开设线上课堂，而捐赠了电子教学机。我们的中外教老师在培训完“小老师”以后，就由他们给山区小学生进行线上授课。爱心的传递，在公益支教社团里一直延续。
丰富的社团活动不仅能够让学生在校的生活得到充实，更能让孩子们得到更多体验和锻炼。此外，海外大学招生官也非常看重学生的“软实力”，无论是申请美国藤校，还是英国G5精英大学，这些软实力最直接的锻炼方式就是从“社团活动”中获得。
小小的社团活动，却蕴藏着让学生看到更广阔世界的潜能。而助力学生成为更好的自己，一直是我们青岛为明学校国际部所努力的方向。
